LILONGWE (Malawi NewsNow) – Mezabun Mussa (nee Rafik Mussa), wife of a Malawian businessman of Asian decent in the cpital Lilongwe who had complained of domestic violence in his family continues to live in fear and has been threatened not to visit her sick father on his return from India where he underwent a serious medical treatment.
Mussa the father to Mezu has really been close to her and she is the favorite daughter but she has been threatened not to visit her father if she wishes to remain in the matrimonial family.
Meza is married to Anuwar Sakur Abdulla.
She reportedly sought help from ministry of gender when she was threatened by her husband to be thrown out of the house for a gift of a VW Car she received from her father.
The matter was also refereed to Lilongwe Muslim jammat where Mr Zicar Mussa as head of trustees, the other trustee Mr Manzur Bheda and the Lilongwe Jamaat head of chief Mr Hamid Abdul Gaffer , dismissed it.
But now her husband Anuwar Abdulla has started to feel sorry for his wife as he feels the long relation cousin is trying to stir the mess for her.
Family sources inficate that Imran Abdul the elder son to the family is behind the harassment and intimidation on Meza.
Imran Abdul had pressured Mezabun to return the gift car she received from her father a state of art VW .
In return to calm her down Abdul bought a ‘hot’ Toyota Fortuner reg number NN650 a brown gold vehicle which is said to have issue with duty evasion.
Having Interpol operation in Malawi, the car was taken off Mezabun on Monday and hidden for the Interpol not to have access to retract the stolen vehicle.
Mezabun has been left with no other option but to remain calm and share a vehicle with their family driver.
