DEDZA (Malawi NewsNow) – TNM Super League rookies Dedza young soccer is sailing through troubled financial waters as the players have not been paid for four months .
Dedza faces the champions Big Bullets which is looking to accumulate 70 points this season despite being clear title contenders.
The club’s general secretary, Harold Mora, said the club is facing monetary problems.
“Of course the boys have gone four months without being paid but it is in-house issue and we have already talked with boys and the problem is not that difficult to handle,”said Mora.
Currently Dedza young soccer saints are on position 12 with 19 points having played 20 games in TNM super league.
The team has won 5 games, drew four, lost ten games and have managed to score 21 goals against 38.
Their next game is against Big Bullets who are on the summit of the super league with 47 points after playing 20 games. They have scored 39 goals against 17.
