DALIAN (Malawi NewsNow)- Malawi President Peter Mutharika is among several global leaders to participate in the World Economic Forum’s annual forum, also known as the ‘Summer Davos’, in the northeastern port city of Dalian from September 8-13 .
President Mutharika says Malawi will benefit a lot in the way on how to implement its economic reforms.
“Many ideas on economic reforms will come out and our country will learn from their and implement them back home,” he says.
President Mutharika added apart from the forum and meeting several other investors, he will also meet Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and the two will table for discussion a number of projects for Malawi.
Malawi has been in bilateral relations with China since 2007 after dumping Taiwan.
