DWANGWA(Malawi NewsNow) –Big Bullets on Saturday maintained un beaten record when they beat Mafco 1-0 in the TNM Super League match played at Chitowe Stadium in Dwangwa.
The win means Bullets now have 35 points from 15 games.
Mafco conceded three corner kicks and four free-kicks in the first-half.The third free-kick resulted in a goal. Diverson Mlozi who replaced Dave Ng’ambi was tripped outside the box and Yamikani Fodya scored from the resultant free-kick to put Bullets ahead with seven minutes before recess.
Bullets team manager Raheem Ishmael said the victory was well deserved.
“We played very well and I believe we deserve to win. It is good start to the second round,” said Ishmael in a post match brief.
At Kamuzu Stadium, poor home run continued to torment Fisd Wizards as they lost 0-1 to Civo United.
