BLANTYRE (Malawi NewsNow ) —Malawi dancing contestants will be taking to the dance floor again in October for the season two of the Ka Jive Dance organised by the country’s biggest media group, Times.
Times Group Chief Commercial Manager Mr Dumisani Ngulube has said those aspiring to join the contests should register for the competition starting from September 1 with the auditions taking place on October 10 in Lilongwe and October 17 in Blantyre.
“Times TV has come with Ka Jive, which will help in grooming professional dancers in the country,” said Ngulube.
Ngulube also revealed that the winner will this time walk away with K1.5 million which is 500 thousand kwacha more than what was given out in season of the competition.
According to Ngulube, the Ka Jive Dance competition will likely start on October 24 and that they are planning to have the grand finale in Lilongwe in December.
The Ka Jive Dance Competition Season one attracted an overwhelming response and saw Metics Dance Crew come out top.
