Stain Chirwa – Silvr calm

LILONGWE (Malawi NewsNow ) — Coach Stain Chirwa says Silver Strikers are ready to face football powerhouse Big Bullets  in the Carlsberg Cup semi-final.

Defending champions Bullets Sunday beat Mafco 7-6 on post-match penalties to reach the semi-finals in a match played before a huge crowd at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.

Bullets have completed the semi-finals list and they join Silver Strikers, Be Forward Wanderers and Moyale Barracks in the semi-finals. The champions will face Silver in the semis while Nomads date Moyale in another tricky match.

“We are ready to face Bullets,” Chirwa said after Bullets booked a smei-final date with the bankers.

“This will be a difficult game but we are approaching it calmly, ready,” said Chirwa.
