MULANJE (Mana )- The Vice President Saulosi Chilima says the enhancement of culture and tradition is paramount to the promotion of national heritage.
He was speaking at Mulanje Golf Club Saturday when he teed-off a fundraising golf tournament for this year’s Mulhako wa Alhomwe celebrations.

“As the President delegated me to preside over this ceremony, it clearly indicates that he and his administration value the promotion of culture and tradition in this country,” said Chilima.
He then commended fellow golfers and corporate organizations for taking part in fundraising for the eight year old annual celebrations of Mulhako wa Alhomwe which is scheduled to take place this October.
In leading by example, the Veep pledged K1 million towards the preparations of the celebrations.
